Salsa & Latin Jam Dance Classes - Servicing Hornsby and Hills districts via Pennant Hills
AusLatin is one of Sydney's finest Salsa Dance Schools, conducting salsa dance lessons in the Hornsby / Hills Shires of North Western Sydney. We conduct a regular schedule of Salsa & Latin Jam Dance classes running in 4 courses per year concurrent with NSW school terms in various community centre locations within the Hornsby Shire and Hills District.


Latin Jam is a little similar to the popularly advertised Zumba classes, but focussed specifically on genuine Salsa of international standard, with a few other rhythms for fun and variety. It is also a little more conservative.
Salsa is a partner dance where the men's and ladies steps differ greatly. There is no choreography. Instead you learn the fundamental shapes as well as the true art of lead and follow, which allows improvised dancing - the cornerstone of good salsa. Both types of classes run from Beginners level with no experience necessary.

Private Lessons
Private lessons are available to accelerate or supplement your progress in class, or to learn other styles of Latin dance including LA Style Salsa, Cuban Salsa, Cha Cha, Bachata and Merengue amongst others.
Private lessons are also a great option if classes make you nervous or if you'd like us to prepare you for your wedding dance.

Salsa On 2
There are several styles of Salsa but our preferred style is New York Style Salsa also known as Salsa On2 or Mambo. We teach this style from beginners right through to advanced because we simply LOVE the look and feel of it and have noted that students who learn this style first have no difficulty learning other styles very quickly. In addition we ensure that from level 3 onwards our students become equally capable at the other popular style, L.A (aka On1) style salsa.
