A much sought after dance, instructor and choreographer of Salsa and Flamenco dance, Natalie is also well known for her own unique and exceptional teaching methods.
She incorporates an innate ability to break down material with a positive and encouraging delivery to ensure that all her students achieve their maximum potential.
With over 20 years of dance experience and training and over 15 years of teaching experience spanning Australia, Europe, USA and the Caribbean, she is one of Australia's finest dance instructors.
Natalie’s dance background spans several genre including Afro Caribbean, Jazz, Contemporary, DanceSport, Flamenco and finally Salsa, which has become her passion. She has learned from world champions in each field and incorporates into her own style of Salsa, techniques borrowed from all of these dance styles to create her own unique look and feel.
Famed for her exceptional Ladies Styling and Shines, Natalie considers these elements of salsa to be “…fundamental ingredients of the cake, and not just the icing on the top.”
Natalie’s passion for salsa lies in the exquisite art of proper social dancing (freestyle) with particular attention to lead and follow techniques, and a true knowledge and feel for the music.  She has an intense passion for proper dance techniques which allow the dancer’s body the freedom to interpret and express the music spontaneously, in immediate response to the sounds as they happen.
Natalie is also a highly trained coach, and enjoys preparing couples for professional and amateur Salsa competition with particular focus on musicality, techniques, showmanship and connections.

Natalie has been instrumental in the development of the Salsa scene in Australia and New Zealand but particularly in Sydney. Through the creation and development of some of Sydney's major schools and events, Natalie has risen to international recognition, as a motivated and driven force, and a pioneer in the Latin dance industry in Sydney Australia.

Organiser and promoter - Salsa by the Sea (with Randwick council)
Co-organiser and promoter - Sydney Latin Fiesta 2003 (The predecessor to The Sydney Salsa Congress)
Organiser and promoter - Sydney Latin Fiesta 2004
Organiser and promoter - Latin Dance Corroboree - The Inaugural Australian Salsa Championships 2005 which resulted in the current World Salsa Champions coming from Australia. (The predecessor to The Australian Salsa classic)
Founder/ director / Instructor – AusLatin Productions – Salsa school responsible for much of Sydney’s new population of On2 devotees – (now operating private lessons only)
Adjudicator – Los Carmonas Flamenco annual exams
Adjudicator & Consultant – Australian Salsa Classic – 2008, 2009 & 2010. Natalie has played a major role in the re-development of the judging criteria now used by the ASC for selection of Australian Champions for international competition
Natalie has been instrumental in the promotion of some of Sydney's top Salsa dancers overseas - opening doors for some of Australia's greatest talents to be recognized internationally. She has been instrumental in the development of opportunities designed to create and promote Australia's 5 time World Salsa Champions.
